A tea canister is a lidded jar for storing loose-leaf tea. Ours are ceramic and porcelain, including hand-painted designs and Ru kiln porcelain. Sizes run from small jars that hold about 50 g of tea to larger ones that hold about 120 g. Several also work well for snacks, and some make a pretty piece on the tea table. Handmade and hand-painted pieces vary a little in color and shape. For cups to match, see our ceramic tea cups.
